Alana Giovenco | Beauty Therapist, Manager
From a young age, I was driven, inspired, and determined to build a career in the beauty industry. My journey began in 2012, at just 16 years old, when I earned my spray tanning certification and launched my own home-based business.
In 2013, while studying for my Diploma of Beauty Therapy, I joined Bliss Day Spa as a full-time team member. By 2018, I was honored to be appointed Manager a role that has allowed me to lead with purpose, take on key responsibilities, and mentor others. As my career evolved, my passion for advanced treatments and dermal therapy grew stronger. I feel incredibly fortunate to work in a salon equipped with cutting edge technologies, allowing me to deliver exceptional, results driven services to my clients.
I specialise in makeup application, acne treatments, skin tightening, skin needling, peels, and micro fractional skin rejuvenation. I work with leading technology including Omnilux Medical, Dermapen4, Pollogen Divine Pro, Mono Polar Radio Frequency, the HIPRO-V HIFU device, and our newest addition, the Candela Nordlys. I also hold certification in Plasma Fibroblast, which enables me to treat superficial capillaries, skin tags, and keratosis. With a solid foundation in Skin Anatomy and Cell Biology, I am eager to continue expanding my knowledge in line with the ever-evolving innovations of our industry.

I’m constantly researching, exploring new technologies, and studying ingredient innovations because I’m deeply fascinated by the science behind skin health and the impact it has on my clients. Working at Bliss Day Spa is a daily opportunity for growth I’m grateful to be part of a passionate, supportive team that consistently goes above and beyond to exceed client expectations.
Education and ongoing training are the cornerstones of excellence in our field. My long term goal is to become a leader in this industry, if I can reach even half the level of skill and integrity shown by my mentor, Daniela Boerma, I’ll consider it a true success. I’m incredibly proud to be a part of the Bliss Day Spa team.
