I began my career in Beauty Therapy in 1983, training at the esteemed Diana Nolan School of Beauty Therapy. Upon completion of my course, I was proud to be offered a position with Diana Nolan herself, where I gained invaluable hands on experience in foundational skincare and client care.

In 1985, I joined Face Figure and Fashion my current employer Daniela Boerma’s first salon which marked a significant step forward in my career. This role further developed my practical skills and exposed me to a broader scope of the beauty industry. I later went on to work with the Clarins promotional department, where I refined my retail and communication abilities, acquiring highly effective selling techniques that I continue to apply in my professional practice today.

Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to ongoing education and skill development. My training has continually evolved in line with industry advancements, particularly in the area of skin science and advanced treatment technologies. Currently, I serve as a Senior Therapist at Bliss Day Spa, where I specialise in advanced skin diagnostics. This involves conducting in depth skin consultations, developing tailored treatment plans, and, when necessary, collaborating with GPs and skin specialists to ensure optimal client outcomes within our professional scope of practice.

I take pride in my extensive product knowledge and expertise in delivering advanced treatments. My specialties include Dermapen4 Skin Needling, Omnilux Medical LED Therapy, Pollogen Divine Pro, O Cosmedics Professional Peels, and the HIPRO-V HIFU system. These modalities allow me to offer my clients safe, targeted, and results-driven solutions that reflect the latest innovations in skincare.

A highlight of my career was winning Australian Beauty Therapist of the Year at the Australian Beauty Industry Awards in 2020, a recognition that reflects my dedication, professionalism, and passion for helping clients achieve healthy, radiant skin.
